By registering for and attending TEDSports Turin (the "Conference"), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Organizer

TEDSports Turin is organized by TTalks S.r.l. Impresa Sociale ETS ("TTalks", "we", "us"), Viale Piave 21, 20129 Milano, Italy, Tax Code / VAT No. 14887930965, PEC ttalks@pec.it, email info@tedsports-turin.com, under license from TED Conferences LLC ("TED"). TED is not a party to the contract between you and TTalks and is not responsible for the organization of the Conference.

The Conference takes place in Turin, Italy, on 16 to 18 June 2027. Venues, program, speakers and schedule may change, as set out in section 8.

2. Code of Conduct

TEDSports Turin follows the TED Conferences Code of Conduct (https://conferences.ted.com/code-of-conduct). By registering, you confirm that you have read it and accept it.

Those attending TED events do so in a spirit of curiosity, open-mindedness, respect and tolerance. Harassment in any form is not tolerated. Participants agree to respect confidentiality. The atmosphere at the Conference is intended for high-level relationship building, not salesmanship.

TTalks may sanction or expel participants who violate these rules, without refund. Incidents should be reported immediately to the designated team on site.

3. Registration and Payment

Registration must be completed in full and paid before the Conference. Ticket prices are all-inclusive of the program, networking events and receptions described at the time of purchase, and include VAT where due. Invoices are issued on request, using the details provided at registration.

TTalks may cancel or revoke any registration that is unpaid, disputed or found to be in breach of these Terms.

Tickets are personal and may not be resold, offered for sale or used for promotional purposes without our written consent.

4. Refund Policy

Tickets are non-refundable, except as set out in sections 5 and 8.

No refunds are given for no-shows, partial attendance, travel disruptions, visa denials or personal scheduling conflicts.

Under Article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005), the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for leisure services to be performed on a specific date. Tickets for the Conference fall into this category.

5. Transfers

If you cannot attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person, provided that:

  • full details of the proposed transfer are sent by email to info@tedsports-turin.com;
  • the request is received at least two (2) weeks before the Conference start date.

A transfer is not confirmed until we confirm it in writing. The new attendee must complete registration and accept these Terms and the Code of Conduct.

6. Badge Use and Access

Badges must be worn at all times in Conference spaces and cannot be shared or transferred. We may deny entry to, or remove, anyone who does not comply with badge or access rules.

7. Health, Safety and Physical Activities

Attendees must follow all health, safety and security measures in place at the Conference and the venue rules. Failure to comply may result in removal without refund.

The program may include physical or athletic activities, such as runs, workshops and experiences. Participation is voluntary. You confirm that you are physically fit to take part and that you hold adequate personal medical or health insurance for these activities. Some activities may require a separate waiver or the acceptance of additional rules from the activity provider.

8. Changes, Postponement, Cancellation and Force Majeure

We may make reasonable changes to dates, venues, program, speakers, format and capacity. Such changes do not entitle you to a refund unless they substantially alter the nature of the Conference.

If the Conference is affected by an event beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, war, terrorism, civil disorder, strikes, measures of public authorities, venue closure, transport disruption or failure of essential utilities, we may postpone it, relocate it, change its format (including a virtual or hybrid format) or cancel it.

  • If the Conference is postponed or relocated, your ticket remains valid for the new date or venue. If you cannot attend the new date, you may ask for a refund within fourteen (14) days of our notice.
  • If the Conference is cancelled and not rescheduled, we refund the ticket price, less documented and non-recoverable costs already incurred for your participation, if any.

Except for the refunds provided in this section, we are not liable for delay, non-performance, travel, accommodation or other costs caused by such events.

9. Age Requirement

The Conference is an event for adults. Attendees must be 18 or older, unless otherwise stated in the program. For information on family or accessibility needs, contact info@tedsports-turin.com.

10. Photography, Video and Recording

The Conference is photographed, audio recorded and filmed. By attending, you acknowledge that your image and voice may be captured and you grant TTalks and TED the right to use the recordings, in full or edited form, for promotional, editorial, educational and archival purposes, in any media, without compensation, in accordance with applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not want to appear in recordings, tell the staff at the venue and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate you. Attendees may not record or broadcast sessions without our written permission.

Where applicable, certain data is shared with TED for event administration and post-event surveys, as explained in those documents.

13. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal property during the Conference. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by us, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including consumer protection law.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by Italian law.

If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence, and any dispute may be brought before the court of your place of residence or domicile in Italy. Consumers in the EU can also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

For all other attendees, the parties will first try to resolve any dispute in good faith through mediation under Legislative Decree 28/2010 before a mediation body based in Milan. If mediation fails, the Court of Milan has exclusive jurisdiction.
